Install one (1), 2-plug 12-volt electrical box outside the equipment room on or near the rear bumper. <br />It must be mounted in a manner that will not interfere with entering and exiting the back of the <br />equipment room. The box must be GFI protected and have spring-loaded covers over the plug-ins. <br />D. Install a step bumper with a pull-out set of steps that will easily facilitate entry and exit of the <br />equipment room. <br />E. Install handholds and grabs outside the equipment room to secure entry and exit. <br />F. Install flood lights for nighttime operation on the outer rear top corners of the equipment. Both floor <br />lights must emit enough light to illuminate a 200-square foot area. <br />G. Install an LED amber directional lighting system on the outside top rear center of the roof of the <br />equipment room. The light bar must be at least 5 feet long. It must be able to signal traffic to go to <br />the right or left of the vehicle and have multiple flash modes to warn traffic approaching from behind. <br />H. Install a high-visibility amber light bar at least 4 feet long with LED strobe lights on all corners and LED <br />strobe lights emitting from the face or front of the light bar on the outside top edge of the control <br />room. <br />I. Install LED strobe lights on the equipment room's outside rear, left, and right sides. <br />J. Install LED strobe lights on the outside front, left, and right sides of the control room. <br />K. Install LED strobe lights on both the left and right sides of the bumper; contained within the bumper, <br />next to the brake and turn signal lights. <br />2.20 WARRANTY AND PRODUCT SUPPORT REQUIREMENTS <br />Since the continuous operation of this vehicle or equipment is of the utmost importance and sometimes <br />of an emergency nature, it is necessary that the successful proposer be in position to render normal and <br />emergency or after-hours support. The City of Everett reserves the right to waive, decline, or take <br />exception to any order if warranty requirements are not met to our satisfaction. <br />A. All “normal” preventative maintenance parts, local stock or ordered non-stock, available within 24- <br />hours or one business day. All OEM parts to be available for a period of five (5) years minimum. State <br />OEM parts availability duration. <br />B. The supplier must provide all new parts and components unless authorized, in writing, by the City. <br />C. At time of delivery or earlier, one (1) complete set of any required PM service part to be provided for <br />one vehicle or piece of equipment. This includes any “auxiliary” engine. An example list is shown <br />below: <br />1. Engine oil filter(s). <br />2. Engine fuel filter(s). <br />3. Engine water filter/conditioner. <br />4. Engine air cleaner filter element(s). <br />5. Transmission fluid filter element(s). <br />6. Any cabin air filter(s). <br />7. Fuel system vapor canister(s). <br />8. Hydraulic system filter(s). <br />9. Power steering system filter(s).
