<br />2025 FEDERAL OVERLAY, BROADWAY – CALIFORNIA ST TO 18TH ST SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />FEDERAL AID# STBGUL-2715(012); COE PW# 3841 SP-109 May 6, 2025 <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> 2 <br />9-29.18(3)C System Communications 3 <br /> 4 <br />The TI BPL2 EDGE shall control from 1 to 8 FLIR Traffic sensors. 5 <br /> 6 <br />The TI BPL2 EDGE has 2 RJ45 connections for Ethernet interface and 7 <br />communication to provide traffic data and allow remote configuration from the 8 <br />Traffic Operations Center. 9 <br /> 10 <br />The LAN port shall meet IEEE 802.3 with a RJ-45 connector and meet the 11 <br />following specification: 12 <br /> 13 <br />Data rates for Ethernet via LAN port: 10/100Mbps 14 <br /> TCP/IP based protocol 15 <br /> 16 <br />The communication shall support all functions of the detection system. 17 <br /> 18 <br />All data transmissions shall be protected by CRC (cyclic redundancy 19 <br />checking) or an equivalent error detection method. 20 <br /> 21 <br />The communication shall support MPEG-4/H.264/ MJPEG streaming video 22 <br />over Ethernet with the following programmable parameters: 23 <br /> 24 <br />Streaming video frame rate over Ethernet of up to 30 25 <br />frames/second. 26 <br />Programmable bit/data rate of up to 4 Mbps. 27 <br />2 video streams are available with or without detection overlay 28 <br /> 29 <br />Cyber Security – the thermal detection product will be capable of disabling 30 <br />non-essential services, disabling non-essential physical access ports, have 31 <br />user authentication, configuring encryption certificates, and providing separate 32 <br />logs for user and physical access. 33 <br /> 34 <br />A web browser connection with a standard internet browser shall be possible 35 <br />to communicate with each Thermal traffic detector sensor for remote 36 <br />monitoring and real-time data using the systems assigned IP addresses. 37 <br /> 38 <br /> 39 <br />9-29.18(3)D Image Sensor Mounting Brackets 40 <br /> 41 <br />Mast arm installations shall be mounted at a sufficient height to prevent 42 <br />occlusion from cross traffic between the stop bar and the mast arm on which 43 <br />the camera is installed. A 6’ riser and mounting base is required to get enough 44 <br />height on the mounting position to prevent occlusion from cross traffic. 45 <br /> 46
