Heartland Construction, LLC ES-6516.09
March 24, 2021 Page 2
BMP T5-10C (Perforated Stub-Out) — Section 3.1.3 of Vol. 3 of the drainage manual states the
following:
"Perforated stub-outs are not appropriate when seasonal water table is less than one foot below
trench bottom."
Based on the dense to very dense (low permeability) glacial till deposits identified throughout the
site, the seasonal (perched) water table is expected to develop at relatively shallow depths. In
this respect, high certainty exists that a seasonal water table would develop within one foot of a
perforated stub-out trench bottom. On this basis, perforated stub-out applications are not
considered feasible for the project.
We trust this letter and geotechnical assessment meet your current needs. If you have any
questions, or if additional information is required, please call.
Sincerely,
EARTH SOLUTIONS NW, LLC
A.
