ORDINANCE NO. <br /> An ordinance authorizing and directing the mayor an:. city <br /> clerk to acquire by private purchase, in the name of the city of <br /> Everett, for park purposes, certain property situate in the city <br /> of Everett, and providing a method of paying for the same. <br /> THEREAS, The Board of Park Commissioners have, in writing, <br /> reccmmended to the city council the purchase of certain property des- <br /> cribed in section 1 of this ordinance, to be acquired for park purpos- <br /> es, at a sum not to exceed P10,000. 00, ane upon terms specified here- <br /> in, <br /> NO THEREFORE, TFE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ()MAIN: <br /> Section ; That the mayor and city clerk be and they are hereby <br /> authorized and directed to acquire by private purchase, in the name <br /> of the city of Everett, for a sum not to exceed ten thousand (P10,000) , <br /> for park purposes, the following described real property, to-wit: <br /> Parcel No, . 1: Beginning at a point where the east line of Grand <br /> Avenue as now deeded intersects the south line of the west approach <br /> to the Eighteenth Street Snohomish Iiiver bridge; thence northeasterly <br /> along the south boundary of said west approach to its intersection with <br /> the west boundary of the Great Northern Railway Company' s right-of- <br /> way; thence scutheasterly along the west boundaxy of said reat North- <br /> ern Railvay Company' s right-of-way to its intersection with the east <br /> line cf Grand 'venue as the eame is now deeded; thence northwesterly <br /> &long the east line of said Grand venue to the place of beginning, <br /> and containing one-tenth acre, more or less. <br /> Parcel No. 2: Beginning at a point where the east line of Grand <br /> Avenue as the same is now deeded intersects the north line of the <br /> west approach of the Eighteenth Street Snohomish River bridge; thence <br /> northeasterly along the north boundary of the said west approach to <br /> its intersection with the wet bouniary of the Great Northern Railway <br /> Company' s right-of-v,ay; thence northwesterly along the Test boundary <br /> of the Great Northern Railway Company' s right-of-way to the south <br /> boundary of Shaffer' : First Addition to the city of Everett; thenoe <br />
