ORDINANCE NO. An ordinance providing for the improvement of Wetmore Avenue, from Pacific Avenue to Fortieth Street, by paving and grad- ing; concrete walks, curbs, and gutters; drainage, and such other work as may be necessary to make a. complete improvement; approving the plans and specifications for such improvement; creating an assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund there- for, and providing for payment of said improvement by special assess- ments on the property in said district uhder the mode of "Payment by Bonds". "'FEREAS, By Resolution No. 24+56 of the city of Everett, the city council of said city has declared its intention to order the improvement of Wetmore Avenue from Pacific Avenue to Fortieth Street, in accordance with plans prepared by the city engineer, NOW TRFREFORF, T 'F CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That 'Wetmore Avenue from the south curbs line of Pacific Avenue to the south curb line of Fortieth Street be improved by removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of concrete pavement, which pavement shall be twentyeight feet wide be- tween Pacific Avenue and Thirtyseventh Street and twentyfour feet wide between Thirtyseventh Street and Fortieth Street; concrete curbs and gutters, concrete walks, necessary drainage, and doing such other work as may be necessary in o nnection therewith, such improvement to be made according to plans and specifications prepared under the dir- ection of the city engineer and now on file in the office of the city engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approv- ed. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, including the necessary and indidental expenses, shall, be borne by and assessed against the property included in the assessment district here- after created in accordance with law.
