ORDINANCE NO. <br /> An ordinance providing for the improvement of Wetmore <br /> Avenue, from Pacific Avenue to Fortieth Street, by paving and grad- <br /> ing; concrete walks, curbs, and gutters; drainage, and such other <br /> work as may be necessary to make a. complete improvement; approving <br /> the plans and specifications for such improvement; creating an <br /> assessment district, creating a local improvement district fund there- <br /> for, and providing for payment of said improvement by special assess- <br /> ments on the property in said district uhder the mode of "Payment by <br /> Bonds". <br /> "'FEREAS, By Resolution No. 24+56 of the city of Everett, the <br /> city council of said city has declared its intention to order the <br /> improvement of Wetmore Avenue from Pacific Avenue to Fortieth Street, <br /> in accordance with plans prepared by the city engineer, <br /> NOW TRFREFORF, T 'F CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That 'Wetmore Avenue from the south curbs line of <br /> Pacific Avenue to the south curb line of Fortieth Street be improved <br /> by removal of old lumber, grading to proper grade, construction of <br /> concrete pavement, which pavement shall be twentyeight feet wide be- <br /> tween Pacific Avenue and Thirtyseventh Street and twentyfour feet wide <br /> between Thirtyseventh Street and Fortieth Street; concrete curbs and <br /> gutters, concrete walks, necessary drainage, and doing such other <br /> work as may be necessary in o nnection therewith, such improvement to <br /> be made according to plans and specifications prepared under the dir- <br /> ection of the city engineer and now on file in the office of the city <br /> engineer, which plans and specifications are hereby adopted and approv- <br /> ed. <br /> Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, <br /> including the necessary and indidental expenses, shall, be borne by and <br /> assessed against the property included in the assessment district here- <br /> after created in accordance with law.
