Please review and respond to the <br /> comments below. <br /> STRUCTURAL <br /> 1. Comment #36 has not been fully resolved. The intent of the comment was to ask for the <br /> connection to the existing structure. Please revise the details of the new sidewalk/pad to be <br /> concurrent with the required anchorage of the lift support/tower. In doing so, please account for <br /> the appropriate clear cover for anchor bolts and steel reinforcement in design of the lift <br /> foundations. <br /> 2. The existing concrete pier pads and 4x4 sawn deck posts should meet the frost line depth for the <br /> City of Everett of 18" below grade. Please see Section 16.01.010.1 of the EMC referring to the edits <br /> made to IRC Section R301.2(1). <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building <br /> Division with two new sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. <br /> Please include a response letter which indicates how the corrections were resolved. <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2021 International Building Code (IBC), 2021 International Residential Code <br /> (IBC), 2021 International Existing Building Code (IEBC), the 2021 International Fire Code (IFC),the 2021 <br /> International Mechanical Code (IMC), and/or the 2021 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as <br /> amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced <br /> standard for accessible design is the Washington Accessibility Code 2017 ("Accessible and Usable <br /> Buildings and Facilities" ICC/ANSI A117.1-17).
