Broadway <br /> Everett, Washington <br /> Terracon Project No. 81135080 <br /> January 9, 2014 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents the results of our geotechnical engineering evaluation performed for the <br /> proposed construction of a Starbucks coffee shop on the subject site. The purpose of our <br /> evaluation was to provide geotechnical characterizations, conclusions, and recommendations <br /> concerning the following elements of the project: <br /> Building foundations = Flexible & rigid pavements <br /> Slab-on-grade floors  Building drains <br /> Geological hazards Structural fill <br /> Seismic criteria General earthwork <br /> Infiltration potential <br /> 2.0 PROJECT INFORMATION <br /> The following sections present information regarding site delineation, existing site usage, <br /> proposed development features, and our geotechnical scope of work. Terracon should be <br /> notified if any significant changes are made to the proposed site location, layout, or details. <br /> 2.1 Site Delineation <br /> The project site comprises a commercial parcel located near the intersection of 10th Street and <br /> North Broadway in north Everett, Washington. Table 1, below, summarizes our understanding <br /> of the site location and boundaries, as gained from maps, survey plans, aerial photos, team <br /> communications, and a site reconnaissance.
