I
Stormwater Management Report Everett, WA
Design Criteria
The City of Everett Stormwater Management Manual, January 1997 and 1992 DOE
Stormwater Manual.
Nature and Goals of Project: The proposed project includes the addition of 4,382 SF of
new impervious surface to accommodate semi-truck movement activities. Due to the
increase in new impervious area, the existing water quality pond volume is to be
increased.
II. Preliminary Conditions Summary
The existing site generally flows toward the center of the disturbed area. The surface run-
off is then collected by the conveyance system and routed to the existing water quality
pond in the northwest corner of the site. The pond then discharges to the east and is
conveyed to the City of Everett public storm drainage system at the northeast corner of the
site. The public system continues east along West Casino Road.
The proposed site improvements will consist of less than 5,000 SF of new impervious. The
proposed project will increase the existing water quality pond and the existing conveyance
system will remain.
See Exhibit A for the Pre-Developed Conditions Map
111 See Exhibit B for the Post-Developed Conditions Map
Ill. Off-Site Analysis
The proposed development contains less than 5,000 SF of new impervious surface. Due
to the minor scope of these improvements, no impact to the off-site storm drainage system
is anticipated. Therefore, no off-site analysis was performed.
IV. Analysis and Design of RequiredErosion and Sediment Control BMPs
The proposed erosion control measures will include inlet protection for all existing catch
basins near the project's disturbed area and approximately 685 LF of silt fence will be
installed to minimize the risk of silt and sediment exiting the site during construction
activities. See the attached Demolition and T.E.S.C. Plan, sheet D-1.0 (Exhibit F) for
location of Inlet Protection and Silt Fence.
I
I
PACLAND Job# 50183001 Page 3
