1
Drainage Report
Boeing Everett-E-6 Parking Lot Expansion July 16,2013
when sediment has filled one-third of the available storage (unless a different standard is
specified by the product manufacturer). The following inlet protection measures will be applied
on this project:
' • BMP C220: Storm Drain Inlet Protection
4.8 Element#8—Stabilize Channels and Outlets
Construction stormwater should only be discharged after passing through an appropriate
sediment removal process. The use of silt fence and other pollutant removal devices should be
strictly adhered to by the contractor to ensure no sediment laden stormwater enters conveyance
systems.
4.9 Element#9—Control Pollutants
All pollutants, including waste materials and construction debris, that occur onsite shall be
handled and disposed of in a manner that does not cause contamination of stormwater. Good
housekeeping and preventative measures will be taken to ensure that the site will be kept clean,
well-organized, and free of debris. The following pollutant control measures will be applied on
this project:
• All vehicles, equipment, and petroleum product storage/dispensing areas will be
inspected regularly to detect any leaks or spills, and to identify maintenance needs to
prevent leaks or spills.
4.10 Element#10—Control De-Watering
If necessary the contractor shall submit a dewatering plan for the project. It is not anticipated that
a dewatering plan will be necessary as excavation will be primarily shallow and above the
groundwater table of the site.
4.11 Element#11 —Maintain BMPs
All temporary and permanent erosion and sediment control BMPs shall be maintained and
repaired as needed to assure continued performance of their intended function. Maintenance and
repair shall be conducted in accordance with each particular BMPs specification.
All temporary erosion and sediment control BMPs shall be removed within 30 days after the
final site stabilization is achieved or after the temporary BMPs are no longer needed. Trapped
sediment shall be removed.
4.12 Element#12—Manage the Project
Erosion and sediment control BMPs for this project have been designed based on the following
principles:
• Retain sediment onsite.
• Thoroughly monitor site and maintain all ESC measures.
' • Emphasize protection of inlets to stormwater conveyance systems.
The project will be managed according to the following key project components:
I
20130715_Drainage Report_Boeing Everett_Gate E-6 Parking Lot.doc Page 11
I
