Description of On-Site Storm System P y The on-site storm system for the E-6 Parking Lot Expansion project consists of Type 1 and Type 2 catch basins with spill control elbows, along with 12" SDR35 storm pipe connecting the proposed catch basins to the existing Boeing stormwater conveyance system. Stormwater runoff from the site will be captured in new catch basins situated in the flow lines of the new parking lot. Stormwater will be conveyed through the proposed system and into the existing Boeing stormwater conveyance system along the west side,of the new asphalt parking lot via 8" SDR35 storm pipe. Once the stormwater enters the existing system, it is routed east and north to the existing Powder Mill Gulch detention/water quality pond. All four onsite catch basins will have a downturned 90 degree elbow for oil/water separation/spill control. The spill control elbows serve as source control of pollution on the project site. In order to control pollutants,proper maintenance and cleaning of debris, sediments, and oil from stormwater collection and conveyance systems is required per the operation and maintenance recommendations found in the City of Everett Stormwater Manual and also applicable 2012 Department of Ecology Stormwater Manual maintenance recommendations.
