BRPH began the conversation with an explanation of their understanding of the existing stormwater basins and
flow patterns throughout the expected project area. Discussion of site area regarding impervious vs. pervious
locations on the plan and what in our scope may be affected.
I • Exhibits were presented for the existing basins, their previously assumed impervious coverages, and the boundary
for the 40-58 project. (See attached exhibit.)Andrew L. reviewed the existing basins and relationship to proposed
improvements for the 40-58 building.
I '+ The extents of the impact from the 40-58 project affect areas that drain to three separate basins:
• Powder Mill Gulch Detention Pond
• West Detention Pond (Fluke Pond B)via bio-swale and wetland
I • Fluke Pond A via bio-swale and wetland
■ It was presented that the majority of the project area currently drains to the Powder Mill Gulch, while only the
northern most areas drain to the other two outfalls.
I + As part of the 1991 EIS report that was conducted, the vast majority of the areas impacted by the project
were designed to be 100% impervious. Subbasins 38,79, and 80 are designed to be 90% impervious, while
subbasin 59 is designed to be 95% impervious. If 100%of the proposed project was impervious, this would
Idisplace approximately 0.8 acres of previously designed pervious area.
w:\c06956.001.00-boeing-40-58 cwfc\2.4-meeting minutes, tele-memos, project memos\weekly site update meetings\(2014-04-03)
mm006-40-58 city stormwater meeting minutes.docx
I
