MINIMUM REQUIREMENT#3: SOURCE CONTROL OF POLLUTANTS Since this project is located within the combined storm/sewer basin for the City of Everett, interim Public Works Policy#2-11 states that projects within the combined basin are exempt from runoff treatment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT#4: PRESERVATION OF NATURAL DRAINAGE SYSTEMS AND OUTFALLS All of the runoff from the existing site is tributary to the combined storm/sewer system and that will remain the case after this project is completed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT#5: ON-SITE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT Vegetated swales have been designed along the north and south sides of the parking for this project to collect,treat, retain and attenuate runoff from the proposed parking. In addition, raised landscaping areas have been added to the swales to provide some ponding of runoff which will further attenuate flows and allow for absorption of runoff into the amended soils within the bottom and sides of the swale.. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT#6: RUNOFF TREATMENT Since this project is located within the combined storm/sewer basin for the City of Everett, interim Public Works Policy#2-11 states that projects within the combined basin are exempt from runoff treatment. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT#7: FLOW CONTROL As noted previously this project is located within the combined storm/sewer basin and City of Everett Interim Policy#2-11 applies. With regards to flow control this policy states that the existing conditions for the site shall be used in the calculation of site runoff. There for the existing SFR and driveway which were recently removed along with the existing landscaping will be used to define the existing conditions. Refer to Section 6 for a detailed discussion. MINIMUM REQUIREMENT#8: WETLAND PROTECTION No wetlands exist in the downstream system for this project.
