8. PROJECT OVERVIEW <br /> This project proposed on an existing parcel totaling 0.15 acres. Due to the presence of <br /> existing site improvements this project will replace existing impervious and landscaping <br /> with new parking and landscaping. All the new impervious surfaces will be directed to a <br /> grass lined swales with check dams. The swales area collected and conveyed to a CB at <br /> the east side of the site nearest the alley which discharges to the combined storm/sewer <br /> system within the alley to the east. <br /> The site grades for this project are moderate, approximately 5%. Site grading will be <br /> necessary to construct the project with the majority of the excavation required to provide <br /> a parking lot grade that is less that 5%.
