I
I
6. Minimum Requirement#6: Runoff Treatment
Between the Ross Avenue drainage ditch and the outfall into the Snohomish
River, runoff flows through regulated wetlands and as such, enhanced runoff
treatment is required. Pollution generating surfacing will be routed to a DOE
approved Contech Stormwater StormFilter® with Metal Rx media sized to treat
the tributary basin for enhanced treatment. See Appendix C for Western
Washington Hydrologic Modeling (WWHM3) and sizing of the Contech
StormFilter.
The existing 7 cartridge stormfilter manhole northeast of the proposed crane pad
was sized to treat additional runoff from the proposed crane pad. See Section
VIII and Appendix C for additional design information.
7. Minimum Requirement#7: Flow Control
According to the 2010 City of Everett Stormwater Management Manual and
Appendix I-E from the DOE manual, Flow Control is not required, because the site
discharges into an exempt receiving Water Body.
8. Minimum Requirement#8: Wetlands Protection
The project site does not discharge into a wetland area.
9. Minimum Requirement#9: Operations and Maintenance
An Operation and Maintenance Manual is included in Appendix D of this report.
I
I
I
I
I
I
I
Stormwater Site Plan Page 8
McClean Ironworks Site Improvements August 2014
I
