The attached report
I
presents our findings and preliminary recommendations for the geotechnical aspects of project design and
construction.
I
' Our field exploration indicates that the site is generally underlain by glacial till generally consisting of medium
dense to very dense silty sand with varying amounts of gravel. We did not observe groundwater seepage in any
of our recent site explorations; however, we observed light seepage of perched groundwater approximately 10
1 feet below existing surface grades in one of our test pits excavated in May 2006.
In our opinion, the subsurface conditions at the site are suitable for the planned development. In general,
conventional spread footings may be used for supporting the buildings bearing on undisturbed native soil or
Icompacted structural fill.
We trust this information is sufficient for your current needs. If you have any questions or require additional
Iinformation,please call.
Sincerely yours,
TERRA ASSOCIATES,INC.
r€
I John C S ` :
Project y, .-°V ''; ,
Theod`- the#14 7
Princin `u 42 '
NwL
ffi 1o0 flows Road, Suite 101, Kirkland, Washington 98034
Ione{425) t321-7777 e Fax (425') 821-433=4
