The attached
preliminary report presents our findings and recommendations for the geotechnical aspects of project design and
construction.
Our field exploration indicates the site is generally underlain by about three to six inches of organic forest duff
overlying outwash and glacial till sediments consisting of loose to medium dense silty sand to sand with silt and
medium dense to very dense silty sand with gravel. We observed moderate groundwater seepage in one of the
test pits at a depth of approximately ten feet below the ground surface.
In our opinion, the subsurface conditions at the site are suitable for support of the proposed commercial
structures, associated utilities, and pavements, provided the recommendations presented in this report are
incorporated into project design and construction.
' 12525 Willows Road, Suite 101, Kirkland,Washington 98034
Phone (425) 821-7777 • Fax (425) 821-4334
