Please provide design calculations for the required dragstrut members and strut connections <br />indicated on plan Sheet S2.1a/b and detail 6/55.1 asthese a[[earto be missingfromthe permit <br />calculation package. It is unclear from the RISA model provided on page 66 of the permit <br />calculations whether the overstrength factor is captured in the Basic Load Case or is <br />overstrength factor need to be amplified in the Load Combination as the Om"EQ load <br />combination only appearsto use a factorof 1.0. Please clarify. <br />RESUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will ben ecessary to provide the Building <br />Division with the following items: <br />❑ (2) New, complete sets of revised construction documents reflecting the corrections as <br />required. <br />❑ (1) Response letter detailing how the corrections were resolved. <br />All codes cited refer to the 2016 International Building Code (IBC), 2016 International Existing Building <br />Code (IEBC), the 2016 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2016 International Mechanical Code (IMC), <br />and/or the 2016 Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and <br />adopted by the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 <br />''Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities'' (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and <br />standards may be more restrictive. <br />These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by <br />other departments (such as Utilities, Traffic, Planning or Fire).
