The vertical embeds were still being placed and tied appropriately. Upon completion, we verified the
reinforcing steel on the above specified location for size, grade, count, spacing, lap, clearances and general
overall placement.
In our opinion, the reinforcing steel was placed in general accordance to the approved structural plans per
sheets S6.05 and S6.06.
-Grade Beams, GBA and GB1, east of gridline A from grids 5 to 11 (In -Progress)
While at the site, we were also requested to inspect the reinforcing steel of the planned grade beams on the
above specified locations. The reinforcing steel on the above specified location was verified for size, grade,
count, spacing, lap, clearances and general overall placement.
We observed that majority of the reinforcing steel was in place except for the two (2) grade 60 #5 continuous
rebar at mid depth of the grade beams, GBA and GB 1. We also noted that the top reinforcing with standard
hooks at the intersections of grade beams does not have adequate clearance from the concrete forms. We also
reminded the rebar-subcontractor regarding the vertical embeds for the curb wall near gridline A.5. The rebar
sub -contractor was notified about the observed discrepancies and plans to fix it immediately.
This is section is a progress report and Krazan plans to perform another inspection as requested and as other
areas of the grade beams have been completed.
Site photos are attached for reference.
To the best of my knowledge, the above WAS performed in general accordance to the approved plans and project specifications.
Superintendent/R esentative: Technician: Niccolo Guiao
4303 —1981h Street SW • Lynnwood, Washington 98036 • (425) 485-5519 • FAX (425) 485-6837
With Offices Serving the Western United States
