Upon arrival at <br />the site, we met with Contractors and discussed about project requirements. <br />Rebars were inspected at the following(s)• <br />■ —9" STRUCTURAL SLAB ON GRADE; @ SOUTH SIDE <br />(APPROXIMATELY FROM GRIDLINE 1 TO —8.5) <br />Reinforcing steel bars of above referenced slab on grade areas were checked for size, grade, count, <br />cover, lap splice, spacing, cleanliness etc. <br />Some of the items that are missing &/or need attention are as following(s): <br />✓ Majority of bottom mat rebars were simply sitting on top of base gravel and filter fabric <br />materials. Minimum —2" cover is required for all bottom mats. <br />✓ Some top bars were not tied properly and sagging at either side of the grade beam. Those <br />sagging bars need to be raised & tied with proper clearance(s) (-1" cover from top). <br />✓ Required minimum rebar clearances should be maintained on all other sides. <br />✓ Trim bars/diagonal bar(s), TYP.
