Mercer WEATHER: Cloudy TEMP: 40' F <br />REPORT#95 <br />Inspected item - L3 Floor Diaphragm <br />L3 - Unblocked Diaphragm at 17 — 23/A — R (north section as per S4.12B) was re -inspected today as <br />per RFI#234 (updated, January 10, 2022) for nail size discrepancy. <br />We walked thru to ensure the contractor has added required additional nails and spacing throughout the <br />deck. We verified that all sheathing panels installed perpendicular to supporting elements, panels <br />staggered, maintained a —1/8" gap between panels, nailing at all panel edges, at intermediate, at shear <br />walls below, at joist blocking, and at perimeter (after rim board alignment). <br />The floor was fastened with the same nail size, 0. 13 1 X2-1/2", and spaced @ 6" OC at panel edges <br />with additional edge nailing being 12" OC (every other space to existing 6" OC) and met or exceeded <br />RFI4234 requirements.
