South aa,1-18.5/A - K <br />Unblocked Floor Diaphragm located within GL's 1—18.5/A — K (South) was inspected today and <br />accepted as per approved plan. We walked thru with the framing contractor and verified nail size and <br />spacing (4.5" @ panel edge and 12" in the field) throughout the deck. We verified that sheathing panels <br />installed perpendicular to supporting members, panels are staggered, maintained a —1/8" gap between <br />panels, checked nailing at panel edges, at intermediate, at shear walls below, and at blocking. <br />Shear wall nailing and clips: <br />Sheathing, fastening, and shear clips were observed for each interior shear wall and accepted for <br />L4 interior shear walls @ 1 — 18.5/A — K and L5 interior shear walls @ 1 — 18.5/A — K. However, there <br />are some places that need to be added more clips to meet spacing requirement as per shear wall <br />schedule. There are also missing shear clips. See mark ups on plan views.
