While on -site we observed the following operations: <br />Drill and EV xv: <br />- Day Spring Construction performed drill and epoxy operations for placement of 1" all thread for (2) hold downs <br />on level 2, Elevator 1 North at approximately gridline location E.5/20.0. Holes were drilled to a minimum depth of <br />20" utilizing a 1 %" bit and roto-hammer. A wire brush and compressed air were then used to clean the holes prior <br />to epoxy placement. Day Spring Construction applied Simpson 3G epoxy (with an expiration date of 04/13/2023) <br />to fill the previously drilled holes. 1" x 30" all thread was inserted with a twisting motion until bottomed out in the <br />holes. Epoxy was observed to be coming from the holes during and after anchor insertion.
