While on -site we observed the following operations: <br />Drill and Epoxy: <br />- R&D Masonry performed drill and epoxy operations for placement of #5 reinforcing steel for various <br />Level 1 masonry verticals along 11.3 line from D.5 to K.0, K.0 line from 11.3 to 12.0, horizontals at <br />K.0/12.0 and horizontals at D.5/11.3. Holes were drilled to a minimum depth of 5" utilizing a 3/4" bit <br />and roto-hammer. A wire brush and compressed air were then used to clean the holes prior to epoxy <br />placement. R&D Masonry applied Hilti HIT -RE 500 V3 epoxy, with an expiration date of 07/2022, to fill <br />the previously drilled holes. #5 reinforcing steel was inserted with a twisting motion until bottomed out <br />in the holes.
