Thin Film Intumescent Fire -Resistive Material (TFIFRM) from SHERWIN-WILLIAMS was applied for two-hour rated WF steel beams (2)W10X30 at mezzanine level (level 113). As per Sherwin- Williams, the dry film thickness (DFT) required was 221mils for WIOX30 located at 1 — 7/13.3 on LIB and 170 mils for WIOX30 located at 2.5 — 6.5/H on L113. DFT tested using gauge named Elcometer model# A456 CFTS and met or exceeded minimum required DFT and comply with 2015 IBC chapter 17, ASTM D7091, and AWCI (Technical 12-13).
