Miles sand & <br />Gravel delivered 36 cu-yd of mix# 10651 mortar for piles. Grout was conveyed to point of placement by a stationary <br />pump. Contractor installed the pre-fab reinforcing steel cages into grouted holes. The center #6 longitudinal bar was <br />then placed in the center of the gages. Lower center bar splice lap conforms with approved plans. Piles completed <br />today at locations: B-17, B-25A, B-36A, B36B, B-39B-48A, B-51, B-52. Abandoned holes B-25 and B-48 were <br />filled. See attached site plan. <br />Representative performed temperature test. One set of (5) 2x4 cylinders was cast for the determination of <br />compressive strength.
