• ORDINANCE NO. _MIT An An ordinance amendin Seat ions 3 and 5 of prdinance No. 1733 of the city of Everett, and declaring an emergency. THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 3 of Qrdinance No. 1733 be and hereby is amended to read as follows: ' Section 3: There is hereby established a local improvement District to be called"Local Improvement District No. 319; which district shall include the following described property, to-wit: All the property between the termini of said improvement abutting upon, adjacent, vicinal or proximate to such portion of said mhirtyfifth Street as above set forth, and particularly described as follows: Lots 9 to 24, both inclusive, Block 827; Division "H", Plat of Everett; lots 18 to 32, both inclusive, Block 2 Fridayts First Addition to Everett; lots 1 to 4, both inclusive, Block 4, Fridayts Second Addition to Everett. Section 2: That Section 5 of 4ilid ordinance be and hereby is amended to read as follows: Section 5: That the cost and expense of such improvement shall be defrayed by special assessments payable in ten equal annual installments with interest thereon at the rate of six and one-half per cent per annum, under the mode of "Payment by Bonds" as defined by law and the ordinances of said city. Bonds bearing interest at the rate of six and one-half per cent per annum payable on or before twelve years from date of issue shall be issued in payment of the cost and expense of such improvement, or the city of Everett may, at its elec- tion, sell said bonds and make payment in cash, in the manner provided by the ordinances of said city.
