r l <br /> 40 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1772 <br /> An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1575 of the City of Everett, <br /> as amended by Ordinance No. 1609, relating to salaries and compensation <br /> to be paid to the several officers of the city of Everett, and their <br /> assistants and employees, and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF 7VFRETT HOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1575 of the city of <br /> Everett be and here',y is amended to read as follows: <br /> " Section 1: That from and after January 1, 1917, the salaries <br /> and compensation to be paid to the verious officers and err.ployees of <br /> the city of Everett herein named, shall be as in this ordinance provided, " <br /> Section 2: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1575 of the city of <br /> Everett skail be and hereby is amended to read as follows: <br /> "Section 3: City Attorney, one hundred seventy five dollars <br /> per month. In addition to the above salary the city attorney shall be <br /> allowed the sum of twenty dollars per month for office rent and seventy <br /> five dollars per month for stenographer hire. " <br /> Section 3: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1575 kaki be and hereby <br /> is amended to read as follows: <br /> " Section 4: City Clerk, one hundred fifty' dollars per month. <br /> Deputy city clerk, one hundred dollars per month. Stenographer, seventy- <br /> five dollars per month.
