4 <br /> II. PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> Four Corners is a newly constructed multi-family apartment complex of five (5) buildings <br /> being constructed in Everett, WA. Building D is the third building to be occupied in this complex. <br /> Building D is a six-story building that has 80 multi-family dwelling units. The building is a Type <br /> VA construction as defined in Section 602.5 of the 2018 International Building Code. The <br /> building is a five-story (5) wood constructed building, over a one-story (1) parking garage. The <br /> building being constructed is intended to be used as an R occupancy as defined in the <br /> International Building Code & International Fire Code (2018 Editions, including Washington <br /> State Amendments), in addition to having an S-Occupancy (parking garage). <br /> The project's anticipated address is 8102 Evergreen Way, Everett, WA 98203. All buildings <br /> being constructed in this complex are anticipated to have the address stated herein. Per <br /> Washington State's DOR the address of this building is in the City of Everett city limits for taxing <br /> purposes. Fire related emergencies, including life safety system acceptance and enforcement <br /> fall under the purview of the City of Everett Fire Department. <br /> The fire alarm system for this building & complex has been designed by Anthony Medawar, <br /> SET, MCM. Mr. Medawar is a current certificate holder in good standing with NICET (National <br /> Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies). He is a Level III Fire Alarm System <br /> certificate holder, his commission expires on February 1, 2026, and his certification ID with <br /> NICET is 144058. <br /> Mr. Medawar shall oversee the installation, pre-testing, commissioning, and final acceptance <br /> of this system, and shall ensure that installation personnel meet the requirements of WAC 296- <br /> 46B & RCW 19.28. Additionally, all programming/commissioning personnel shall have a NICET <br /> Level II certification as required by Section 907.10.2 of the WSBCC & WAC 51-50-0907 &WAC <br /> 51-54A-0907. <br /> Per the requirements of Section 907.10.2 of the WSBCC &WAC 51-50-0907 & WAC 51- <br /> 54A-0907, Mr. Medawar qualifies as the designer of record for this system. <br /> FOUR CORNERS- BUILDING D -4- <br />
