Responses have been italicized for clarity: <br />3. On Sheet S1, the Design Criteria notes a redundancy factor of 1.0 however the design permit calculations <br />on page ETABS-1 notes that a redundancy factor of 1.3 is being used to design the concrete lateral force <br />resisting system. <br />The redundancy factor for the concrete lateral system is 1.3. The concrete shear walls were designed and <br />detailed for this redundancy factor. Please see the revised 51 showing corrected redundancy factor. <br />4. On Sheet S1, some of the wind design criteria such as the component & cladding wind pressures and wind <br />importance factor appear to be missing. Please clarify and add this information as required per IBC <br />1603.1.4. <br />The missing wind design criteria from 1603.1.4 have been added to 51. <br />5. On Sheet S1 some of the earthquake design criteria such as the base shear seismic response coefficient, <br />analysis procedure and importance factor appear to be missing. Please clarify and add this information as <br />required per IBC 1603.1.5. <br />The missing seismic design criteria from 1603.1.5 have been added to 51. <br />6. On Sheet S1 the photovoltaic design weight allowance appears to be missing from the drawings, but there <br />appears a reference to a panel allowance on S4.4W and S4.4E. Please verify that the design weight <br />allowance is indicated on the plans as there appears to be a proposed roof photovoltaic system on Sheets <br />A216A, A216B.
