� :.1Ry11�11[ ORDINANCE NO. 2452-00 AN ORDINANCE creating the special construction fund entitled"Parks Capital Construction Projects," Fund 354, making appropriations to this fund and authorizing the design and construction of various park improvement projects funded through this fund and repealing Ordinance No's. 2211-97, 2299-98, 2346- 98 and 2401-99 WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2211-97 established the special construction fund entitled"Parks CIP III Construction,"Fund 354, made appropriations to the fund and authorized the design and construction of various park improvements funded by Capital Improvement Program III ("CIP III"); and WHEREAS, since its establishment, Fund 354 has been revised making additional appropriations into said fund; and WHEREAS, funding sources, in addition to CIP III, are now available to fund parks capital construction improvement projects; and WHEREAS,the City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department has received a generous pledge/contribution from an Everett resident dedicated to CSR Athletic Field Project; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to broaden the scope of Fund 354 to reflect the expanded funding sources now available for parks capital construction projects, to allocate the total estimated cost and appropriation for said fund and to authorize the design and construction of various park improvements funded by said fund; NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section l: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 354, entitled"Parks Capital Construction Projects." Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 354 for design and construction of Park capital construction projects.
