These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the k (2012 International Building Code,) (2012 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2012 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested, along with a reduced set of plans no larger than 11"x 17". 1. Provide structural drawings for the repairs to the CMU walls in the garage. 2. Provide guard at north side of structure along the sidewalk that leads from the driveway to the front yard. 3. Repair or remove the steps at the top and bottom of the sidewalk on the north side of the structure. 4. Provide guard per section R312 International Residential Code (I.R.C.) at the front porch, as needed. 5. Provided handrail at stairs on the south side of the structure that go from the front yard down to the basement. 6. The wall in the bathroom of unit #2 on the north side and the walls are required to be insulated on the interior with R-21 insulation.
