TERRA ASSOCIATES, Inc.
iConsultants in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology
and
IEnvironmental Earth Sciences
I
October 16,2020
IProject No. T-8221
I Mr. Dave Kessler
Latitude Development
P.O. Box 817
IAuburn, Washington 98071-0817
Subject: Geotechnical Report
I Baywood Industrial
West Marine View Drive
Everett, Washington
IDear Mr. Kessler:
ll
As requested, we have conducted a geotechnical engineering study for the subject project. The attached report
presents our findings and recommendations for the geotechnical aspects of project design and construction.
IAs indicated by current and previous site explorations, soil conditions at the site consist of 10 to 12 feet of sand fill
overlying native alluvial soils. The alluvial soils consist of a thin layer of soft silt sediments underlain by a 40- to
I 55-foot-thick layer of medium dense to dense sand/silty sand. Compressible clayey silt and silty clay were indicated
below the sands to the 80-foot termination depth of the cone penetration tests (CPTs).
I In our opinion, soil and groundwater conditions at the site will be suitable for support of the development as planned
provided recommendations contained herein are incorporated into project design and construction specifications.
I We trust the information provided in the attached report is sufficient for your current needs. If you have any
questions or need additional information, please call.
I Since -`. +E
5e ;
T a i'44. ' titf• s:
4,,eit.%T 10-16-2020
AreJ.
