<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. ________ <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, “Lion’s Park Skate Dot”, Fund 354, <br />Program 098, to accumulate all design and permitting and construction costs for the project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve City Park amenities. <br /> <br />B. The City Council recognizes the value and need to provide Everett residents and visitors with <br />recreation spaces. <br /> <br />C. The City Council recognizes the need for more community access to skating amenities within the <br />park system. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled “Lion’s Park Skate Dot”, Fund 354, <br />Program 098. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of design, permitting and construction is $360,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $360,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 098, “Lion’s Park <br />Skate Dot”, project. <br /> <br />A. Use of Funds <br />Design, Permitting & Construction $360,000 <br />Total $360,000 <br /> <br />B. Source of Funds <br />CIP 3 $280,000 <br />Grant--Snohomish County REET2 Funds $ 80,000 <br />Total $360,000
