Itemized letter addressing the comments provided below.
b. Two complete sets of revised construction drawings, cloud all updated parts.
c. Two copies of supplemental structural calculations (only if required by reviewer).
Submittal documents should contain sufficient information and detail to review the proposed project
for compliance with the adopted building codes. Upon submittal of the revised documents, your
application will be given priority and the review will recommence.
Architectural (Comments provided by Yin Lu)
1. Please update occupant load calculation.
2. Based on comment #1, Break room will be assembly space, sliding door won't work per IBC
1010.1.2. Please update accordingly.
3. The doors providing egress should have panic hardware even though existing doors. IBC
Section 1010.1.10.
4. The break room should be provided with maximum occupant load signs per IBC Section
1004.9. The locations of the signs should be specified in the floor plans.
Structural (Comments provided by Cal Bearman)
5. The project appears to involve structural modifications. Where a structural design is
performed, structural drawings and calculations should be prepared by a professional
engineer licensed in the state of Washington; the drawings and calculations should bear the
seal and signature of the engineer. See RCW Sections 18.43.010, 18.43.020, and 18.43.070.
This review has been performed for general compliance with the building codes as adopted and
amended by the state of Washington and the city of Everett. Corrections and comments made
during the review process do not relieve the project from compliance with code and permit
requirements. The designers-of-record are responsible for a complete design in accordance with the
laws of the state of Washington.
If you have any questions or require additional clarification, please contact us.
Sincerely,
S
3200 Cedar Street © 425.257.8810 r6( permitservices@everettwa.gov
Everett,WA 98201 425.257.8857 fax everettwa.gov/permits
Page 2 of 3
