Everett <br /> Mr. Martin. <br /> Thanks for reviewing our re-roofing,permit application for the Snohomish Family Center. <br /> This letter is to clarify the description of the work. <br /> The new roof will be constructed with the following layers: <br /> • One layer of 1/2-inch(15/32)CDX plywood,which weighs approximately 1.27 pounds per square foot.This <br /> will be installed over the existing plant:-type deck. Roof framing will not be exposed. <br /> • On top of the CDX plywood,there will be one layer of 1/4-inch thick DensDeck,weighing approximately 1.2 <br /> pounds per square foot. <br /> • Finally,we will install one layer of 80-mil TPO roofing membrane, which weighs approximately 0.42 pounds <br /> per square foot,over the DensDeck board. <br /> The cumulative weight of this roofing assembly is approximately 3 pounds per square foot. For specific weight <br /> information on each component,please refer to the attached documents. <br /> SSF Structural Engineering completed the plans and calculations for the parapet bracing.
