August 13, 2025 <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> <br />Government Affairs Director Jennifer Gregerson provided updates regarding City vehicle <br />replacement; highlighted Consent Items # 4 and 5, regarding the EMOTE program; stated <br />Northwest Innovation Recourse Center will be presenting at Council in the next few weeks; and <br />highlighted topics for next week’s Budget Committee meeting. Council Member Rhyne suggested <br />discussing the COVID recovery funds. <br /> <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br />City Attorney David Hall provided an update regarding opioid settlements. <br /> <br /> <br />CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> <br />Moved by Council Member Fosse, seconded by Council Member Rhyne, to approve the <br />following consent items: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8198 authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of <br />$5,897,831.32 for the period ending July 26, 2025, through August 1, 2025. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION – PAYROLL CLAIMS <br /> <br />To adopt Resolution No. 8199 authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the <br />amount of $5,678,852.50 for the period ending July 26, 2025. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT - AQUATIC LANDS LEASE <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor to sign the Aquatic Lands Lease Agreement No. 20-107205 between <br />the City of Everett and Washington Department of Natural Resources in substantially the form <br />provided. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT AMENDED – EMOTE SERVICES <br /> <br />To authorize the Mayor to sign the City-Conquer Amendment No. 2 for EMOTE services. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT AMENDED – WASHINGTON STATE HEALTH CARE AUTHORITY <br />
