<br /> <br />Category 2: Sensitive information <br />Category 2: For official use only / disclosure permissible by law. <br /> <br /> <br />TDP – Draft Updates <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />August 26, 2025 <br /> <br />Everett Transit presented the final draft of the Transit Development Draft 2025-2030 and 2024 <br />Annual Report to the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC) on August 21, 2025. <br />There were two suggestions on additions to the “Action Strategies 2025-2030” section, which starts <br />on page 13: <br />1. Incorporate Transit Oriented Development (TOD) support and planning (TAC Member Hal <br />Gausman) <br />2. Highlight South Everett as an area of service emphasis (TAC Member Christina Strand) <br /> <br />In response, staff drafted the following additions to paragraph one under the “Continue implementing <br />strategic service adjustments” section on page 13 and will incorporate them in the final plan: <br />g. Improve service to encourage Transit Oriented Development (TOD) in coordination with <br /> the City’s Planning department and in support of the City’s Comprehensive Plan. <br />h. Continue enhancing service and expanding connections in South Everett. <br /> <br />With those revisions, the TAC unanimously voted to recommend Council acceptance of the plan.
