The findings of the study indicate that current speed limits are greater than is reasonable and safe, and the recommendations are to establish a 25mph speed limit along 16th Street between Grand Ave and East Marine View Drive and a 25mph speed limit along Holly Drive between 100th Street SW and Evergreen Way. Holly Drive between Airport Rd and 100th Street SW would remain 30mph posted speed. The Transportation Advisory Committee has voted to recommend approval of the speed limit change as recommended by the City Traffic Engineer. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Adopt a Resolution revising the posted speed limit on the length of 16th St and Holly Drive between 100th Street SW and Evergreen Way.
