<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4108-25 <br /> <br />An ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled, “Lion’s Park Lighting Project”, Fund <br />354, Program 106, to accumulate all construction costs for the project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />A. The City Council recognizes the need to maintain and improve City Parks. <br /> <br />B. The City Council recognizes the value and need to provide Everett residents and visitors with <br />recreation spaces. <br /> <br />C. The City Council recognizes the need for increased lighting and visibility in Lion’s Park. <br /> <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> <br />Section 1. A special improvement project fund is hereby entitled “Lion’s Park Lighting Project”, <br />Fund 354, Program 106. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Facilities Department Director under <br />the administration of the Mayor, to assume full responsibility for conducting all tasks and performing all <br />necessary steps to accomplish the actions authorized by this Ordinance. <br /> <br />Section 3. The estimated cost of construction is $145,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. The sum of $145,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 106, “Lion’s Park <br />Lighting”, project. <br /> <br />A. Use of Funds <br />Construction $145,000 <br />Total $145,000 <br /> <br />B. Source of Funds <br />Grant--Snohomish County REET2 Funds $120,000 <br />Covid Recovery fund $ 25,000 <br />Total $145,000
