ORDINANCE NO. ,`a An ordinance providing for the -improvement of the alley in Block 398, between Summit Avenue and Highland Avenue, from the south line of Twentieth Street to a point 200 feet north of the north line of Twentieth Street, by the complete construction of a sewer, and all other work in connection therewith, in accordance with Resolution No. 2414 of the city of Everett, creating an assessment district, creat- ing a local improvement district fund therefor, providing that payment • for said improvement be made by special assessment on property in said district by mode of "Payment by Bonds". ?"HEREAS, by Resolution No. 2414• of the city of Everett, the city council of Everett has declared its intention to order the improvement of the alley in Block 398, between Summit Avenue and High- land Avenue from the south line of Twentieth Street to a point 200 feet north of the north line of Twentieth Street, in accordance with plans prepared by the city engineer, NO„" THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the alley in Block 398, between Summit Avenue and Highland Avenue, from the south line of Twentieth Street to a point 200 feet north of the north line of Twentieth Street be improved by complete construction of sewer, and all other work in connection there- - with, such improvement to be made according to plans and specifications prepared under the direction of the city engineer,which plans and spec=--- fications are hereby adopted and approved. Section 2: That the cost and expense of such improvement, includ- ing the necessary and incidental expenses, shall be borne by and assess- ed against the property included in the assessment district hereafter created in accordance with law. The city of Everett shall not be liable in any manner for any portion of the cost and expense of such improvemeiit Section 3: That there is hereby established a local improvement district to be called "Local Improvement District No. tea .- , which said district shall include the following described property, to-wit: Lots 1 to S Inclusive, and lots 25 to 32 inclusive, all in Block 398, St. Nicholas Addition to Everett.
