• <br /> ORDINANCE NO. r ' z <br /> An ordinance amending Ordinance No. 1584 of the city of <br /> Everett, and fixing the amount of the bonds to be given by certain <br /> officials of the city of Everett, and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF FVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That Section 1 of ordinance No. 1584 of the city <br /> of Everett, passed April 14, 1914, be amended to read as follows: <br /> Section 1: That each of the following officers of the city <br /> of Everett is hereby required to give bond to the city of Everett for <br /> the faithful performance of his duties, in the following amounts: <br /> City ;treasurer, one hundred twentyfive thousand ( 125,000) dollars; <br /> deputy city treasurer, ten thousand ( 10,000) dollars; assistant deputy, <br /> two thousand ($',2,000) dollars; stenographer, two thousand ( '2,000) <br /> dollars; cashier of water Department, twentyfive hunred ( 2500) dollars; <br /> assistant cashier of Water Department, one thousand ( 1,000) dollars; <br /> city attorney, two thousand ( '2,000) dollars; clerk of Police Court, <br /> one thousand ( '1,000) dollars; city clerk, one thousand P1,000) dollars; <br /> superintendent of streets, one thousand ( 1,000) dollars; city engineer, <br /> one thousand ( 1,000) dollars; chief of Fire pepartment, one thousand <br /> ( 1,000) dollars. <br /> Section 2: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication. <br /> Passed <br /> OCT 1 0 1316 Mayor. <br /> -74:<T42 <br /> Attest <br /> City Clerk. <br /> Published OCT 1 1916 <br />
