ORDINANCE NO, <br /> An ordinance fixing rates for wharfage and other use of the <br /> Riverside Dock, and declaring an emergency. <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That from and after August let, 1916, the foll- <br /> owing schedule of rates for wharfage and other use of the Riverside <br /> Dock shall be in force: <br /> A charge of ten cents per ton on all freight going over the <br /> main wharf, with a minimum charge of five cents when vessel occupies <br /> face of main dock. <br /> For use of grid-iron a charge of one ( l.00) dollar when <br /> going on, and in addition thereto fifty cents for each day that vessel <br /> rests on grid-iron. <br /> For tying up of boat at the wharf, for the first twentyfour <br /> hours no charge; thereafter a charge of ten cents per day or one <br /> (t1.00) dollar per month, payable in advance. If the boat is tied <br /> inside the floating dock, one and fifty-hundredths (t1,50) dollars <br /> per month. <br /> All boats must be registered with wharf-tender, giving the <br /> name of boat and the owner; and boats wishing to use city water <br /> shall pay the ordinary rates therefor. <br /> Section 2: An emergency is declared to exist, and this <br /> ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and publication„ <br /> Passed 1 u t_ 111916 , <br /> __.
