Perforated Stub -out Connections: The roof drain piping is internal to the building to the point of discharge from the building where it is bedded in the dense tills. Vegetative Roof: There are two roof top garden areas that are proposed to be similar in runoff to vegetative roofs. The current total area is approximately 4,200 sf. See landscape plans for details of the roof top planters. Lawn and Landscaped Areas: BMP T5.13 Post Construction Soil Quality and Depth is implemented on landscaped areas. BMP T5.13 POST CONSTRUCTION SOIL QUALITY AND DEPTH Post Construction Soil Quality and Depth will be used on the site to recondition those areas that have been compacted by construction traffic. Additional information is provided on the landscape plans that are part of the construction permit submittal. Conclusion: Having reached the end of List #2, the project complies with BMP T5.13 and will have two roof top planters to further reduce runoff. MR 6: RUNOFF TREATMENT Runoff treatment is not required in the combined sewer area. MR 7: FLOW CONTROL The Phase 2 site has a significant reduction of impervious surface over that of the current site, 18,800 sf less of permanent impervious and 5,800 sf less if included the gravel operations pad for construction. Therefore, Flow Control is not required for the Phase 2 work. Roof drains will be connected from the building to the existing sewer through a 12" storm pipeline that has a separate connection to the sewer main from that of the sanitary side sewer.
