Valentine will take great care with existing siding and will not be responsible for painting, <br /> replacing or repairing damaged siding resulting from roofing activities necessary to fulfill this agreement. <br /> V Customer understands that nails may penetrate through underside of roof deck and this bid does not include <br /> clipping nails or painting soffits. <br /> Protect property using plywood against the home when deemed appropriate by site foreman. <br /> Tear off 1 layer of existing roofing material. House and Attached Garage <br /> V Valentine Roofing will provide waste removal services. The container will be placed in the street or driveway <br /> and removed upon completion of work. <br /> V Inspect all decking and remove/replace any deteriorated wood decking at a rate of$89 per sheet of CDX. <br /> V Any additional layer of roofing material found needing to be removed that is not included in this estimate will <br /> be removed at $75/square. <br /> Additional work performed will be at $85 per man hour plus materials, with 45% added to material costs. <br /> V Free Leak Stop included <br /> ROOFING SPECIFICATIONS <br /> V This bid includes partial re-sheet with 16 sheet(s) of 1/2" CDX, installed on 0-7 pitch. <br /> V Furnish and install OC WeatherLock Mat (2 sq roll) around all roof penetrations. <br /> Furnish and install new starter shingles on all gutter and drip edges. <br /> Furnish and install new pre-finished W-style metal valleys. <br /> Furnish and install new metal vent pipe flashings. <br /> V Step Flashing: Install new step flashing tins behind siding. <br /> V Furnish and install new roofing material (options below) in the color of your choice in accordance with the <br /> manufacturer's printed instructions manual. <br /> V Furnish and install new OC Pro Edge H&R shingles on all ridges and hips. <br /> V Furnish and install 12 new RVO-38 exhaust vent(s). <br /> Replace 3 bath vent(s) with new metal flapper vents. <br /> �/ Clean up and haul away all debris. A magnet will be used to retrieve loose nails. <br />
