c. How many parking spaces would the completed project have? How many would the <br /> project eliminate? <br /> A few existing parking spaces might be retained for security and monitoring purposes. <br /> Approximately 250 parking spaces will be eliminated. <br /> d. Will the proposal require any new roads or streets, or improvements to existing roads or <br /> streets, not including driveways? If so, generally describe (indicate whether public or <br /> private). <br /> No. <br /> e. Will the project use (or occur in the immediate vicinity of) water, rail, or air transportation? If so, <br /> generally describe. <br /> Yes. The property abuts a deep water urban port to the west, and the BNSF railway to the east. <br /> See attached site drawing for rail and water transportation on or near the site. <br /> f. How many vehicular trips per day would be generated by the completed project? If known, indicate <br /> when peak volumes would occur. <br /> One or two daily trips may continue to occur for security and monitoring purposes. <br /> g. Proposed measures to reduce or control transportation impacts, if any: <br /> The site had significant truck and vehicular trips during mill operation. It is estimated that there <br /> was an average of220 daily truck trips and 500 vehicular(employee) average daily trips to the <br /> site. These trips will be eliminated by this project. <br /> 15. Public services <br /> a. Would the project result in an increased need for public services (for example: fire protection, police <br /> protection, health care, schools, other)? if so, generally describe. <br /> Yes. The proposal will generate approximately 50,000 tons of solid waste (construction and <br /> demolition debris) which will be transported by truck and rail to an approved solid waste disposal <br /> landfill or recycling facility. All hazardous wastes (if encountered) will be transported to an <br /> approved hazardous waste disposal facility. <br /> b. Proposed measures to reduce or control direct impacts on public services, if any. <br /> Not applicable. <br /> 16. Utilities <br /> a. Utilities currently available at the site: <br /> Electricity, natural gas, water, refuse service, telephone, sanitary sewer. <br /> b.
