A-1 Landscaping and Construction,Inc., of <br /> Snohomish, WA, submitted the lowest responsive and responsible bid in the amount of$598,750.00. <br /> This project will construct wetland enhancements along the Snohomish River,on City-owned property, <br /> within the Riverfront Development site. In accordance with the Public Amenities Master Plan for the <br /> Riverfront Development, construction will include creating tidally-influenced channels and habitat berms <br /> within the existing degraded wetland. These channels will connect to the Snohomish River through <br /> excavation of the existing river dike. Creosote-treated wood piling will be removed from the river at these <br /> channel connections. <br /> This project is a City commitment in the Property Disposition Agreement for the Riverfront Development. <br /> The sources of funds for this project are: <br /> Fund 308—Riverfront Development $598,750.00 <br /> Total $598,750.00 <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award the construction contract for the Riverfront Development—North Wetland Complex Project to A-1 <br /> Landscaping and Construction,Inc. in the amount of$598,750.00,including Washington State sales tax. <br /> 147 <br />
