Funding is sought for the purchase and acquisition of 1) <br /> Real-Time Video Recording System, 2) Digital Video Cameras, 3) GPS Tracker System, 4) Mobile <br /> Device Forensics Software, 5) Underwater Communication System, 6) Specialized Hazardous <br /> Materials/ Bomb Technician Training and Travel. <br /> A. EQUIPMENT <br /> Real-Time Video Recording System <br /> The first project proposed is the purchase of a real-time video recording system. The system <br /> will provide undercover detectives the ability to monitor investigative operations and areas of <br /> public threat while providing additional officer safety. The estimated cost of the complete <br /> surveillance system is$20,800.00. <br /> Digital Video Cameras <br /> The second project proposed is the purchase of two digital video cameras. These cameras will <br /> allow detectives the ability to capture still shots and document real-time activity during <br /> investigative operations providing additional data and enhancing officer safety. The estimated <br /> cost of the two digital video cameras is $650.00. <br /> GPS Device System <br /> The third project proposed is the purchase of two GPS device trackers and annual service. The <br /> GPS devices will allow Special Investigations Detectives to track objects and monitor activity <br /> associated with a criminal investigation. The estimated cost of the two GPS devices and annual <br /> service fee for one year is $3,890.00. <br /> 76 <br />
