CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON <br /> EVERETT POLICE DEPARTMENT <br /> Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program <br /> (CFDS# 16.738) <br /> 2016 Local Grant Application <br /> Section 3 - Review Narrative <br /> REVIEW NARRATIVE <br /> Governing Body Grant-Application Review <br /> Discussions between members of the Everett Police Department's command staff and <br /> members of the Mayor's executive staff regarding the nature, amount and program content of <br /> the current grant application, copies of the grant application have been provided to both the <br /> Mayor and City Council for review and preparation of the June 22, 2016 City of Everett Council <br /> Agenda. <br /> Opportunity for Citizen Review and Comment <br /> In accordance with the standard procedure and process for conduct of business by the Everett <br /> City Council, the matter of the 2016 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant <br /> Application will be brought before the City Council and a request for approval for the Mayor, or <br /> his authorized designee,to submit the application and accept final award will be approved by <br /> that body. Such consideration and approval will occur at the regularly scheduled Everett City <br /> Council meeting on Wednesday,June 22, 2016. This meeting is publicly announced, open to <br /> the public, giving an opportunity for public comment, as is routinely available during all regular <br /> City Council public sessions. <br /> 78 <br />
