ORDINANCE NO. 3330-13 AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled"Bayside Park Phase 2 Improvements Project," Fund 354, Program 031,to accumulate all costs for the improvement project and repealing Ordinance No. 3223-11. WHEREAS,the City of Everett is committed to a planned parks capital improvement program as a part of the City of Everett Parks & Recreation Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS,the City of Everett is requesting funding approval for the utilization of Capital Improvement Program 3 (CIP 3)to complete the construction of Bayside Park renovations; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 354, Program 031, and shall be entitled"Bayside Park Phase 2 Improvements Project"to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 354, Program 031, for the improvement project. Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted to the Parks and Recreation Director, under direction of the Mayor,to assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to accomplish the action authorized in this ordinance. Section 4: The sum of$395,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 354, Program 031, "Bayside Park Phase 2 Improvements Project:" as follows: A. Estimated Project Costs Design, Planning Engineering and Construction $ 395,000 Total Estimated Costs $ 395,000 B. Source of Funds Fund 154-CIP $ 319,000 Payment from former contractor's performance &payment bond 76,000 Total Estimated Funds $ 395,000
