7. INDOOR ENVIRONMENT AND WELLNESS. The following <br /> are guidelines which promote the quality of the indoor <br /> environment and wellness: <br /> • This Community d is ❑ Is not a smoke-free <br /> environment. If the Community is a smoke-free <br /> environment,then no smoking or vaping is allowed <br /> anywhere in the Community,at any time.Smoking refers <br /> to any use or possession of a cigar,cigarette,e-cigarette, <br /> hookah,vaporizer,or pipe containing tobacco or a tobacco <br /> product while that tobacco or tobacco product is burning, <br /> lighted,vaporized,or ignited,regardless of whether the <br /> person using or possessing the product Is inhaling or <br /> exhaling the smoke from such product.The term tobacco <br /> includes,but is not limited to any form,compound,or <br /> synthesis of the plant of the genus Nicotiana or the species <br /> N.tabacum which is cultivated for its leaves to be used in <br /> cigarettes,cigars,e-cigarettes,hookahs,vaporizers,or <br /> pipes.Smoking also refers to use or possession of burning, <br /> lighted,vaporized,or ignited non-tobacco products if they <br /> are noxious,offensive,unsafe,unhealthy,or irritating to <br /> other persons.Please refer to the No-Smoking Addendum <br /> for further information. <br /> • Owner provides common area cleaning using products <br /> that have the Green Cleaning®seal or a similar green <br /> certification.Owner recommends that Residents also use <br /> like products in the cleaning of their units. <br /> 8. SEVERABILITY. If any provision of this Addendum to the <br /> Lease Contract is invalid or unenforceable under applicable <br /> law,such provision shall be ineffective to the extent of such <br /> invalidity or unenforceability only without Invalidating or <br /> otherwise affecting the remainder of this Addendum to the <br /> Lease Contract.The court shall interpret the lease and <br /> provisions herein in a manner such as to uphold the valid <br /> portions of this Addendum to the Lease Contract while <br /> preserving the intent of the parties. <br /> 9. SPECIAL PROVISIONS.
